Amazon’s 65% off Black Friday deals

Even if you don’t live in the US of A, Black Friday is still a big deal- if you like bargain hunting anyway. Many online retailers (such as Amazon) still offer crazy Black Friday weekend deals overseas.

For example, you can get a season of Dragon Ball Z for around 13 USD, or One Piece box sets for around 17 USD each. They even have the director’s cut of the first season of Afro Samurai on Blu-ray for a mere 8 USD. And to all you lucky Amazon Prime members, all these items qualify, saving you monies on expensive international shipping fees.

As always, make sure that you have a region free DVD/Blu-Ray player to make sure that you can play your brand spanking new discs.

The game is set in the year 2032 and earth has been invaded by a load of baddies and their “Mecha.” Earths final hope is BRS…

There will be two versions of the PSP game. The standard version at 6,279 yen and special edition at 10,479 yen.
The Special edition will include a load of illustrations by Huke, a White version of “Black Rock Shooter”, something called “Black Rock Shooter Artworks” and a limited edition soundtrack.

AMV Hell 5 knocks earth out of orbit, no-one notices.

After a silence of nearly 3 years, Not only has the next installment in the award winning AMV Hell series been released, but It’s been out for a month, completely un-noticed by the anime community that thought the team had died several years ago following the statement that they will never make another feature length AMV again.

Not to fear though, as I’m here to politely inform you that all is well and we aren’t all hurtling into the sun. This might happen however, if you don’t make your way over to the AMV Hell forums and download it.

Here’s a trailer to wet your appetites:

Winter 2010/2011 Chart

While you are all eagerly waiting for the review of Iron Man, here’s a little something to tide you over- The next season of anime heading towards you and your retinas within the near future!

And to be quite honest, it looks to be a very weak season. The remnants of the Moe boom are still dominant in the charts, with our only hope apparently being a few movies and OVAs.

My recommendations? I would say to check out Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa, Ah! My Goddess [OAD], Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trail #3 [OVA], Angel Beats [OAD], Princess Ressurection [OAD], Wolverine, and of course, the grand finale of Katanagatari.
